Yeah, the new album is amazing, in every respect. The best thing they've done since "Burnt Offerings," I've been a fan of theirs for a long time. I thought "Horror Show" sucked though.

They are bloody awesome. I actually like all their albums, don't see why Horror Show would be bad, it's a really great album. I'll be seeing them on Graspop this summer, and I should have seen them somewhere in May, but they cancelled the show due to back problems of the guitarist. Sucks pretty bad, but hey, not his fault!
Anyway, they are really really good, very powerfull balads as well (if you're a ballad guy).

i am going to see them this friday in philly with children of bodom and evergrey....im just going to stand in awe of richard christy the whole time...i'll let you guys know how the show was DEATHBLOODBLAST

what they do, they do SO well (makes me think there's no need for another band like them - perfection's been found!)
i think they could do with more variation though or at least maybe a slightly more unusual lyrical theme? by variation i say if anyone out there has iced earth's 3cd live album - they do seem to have two stock formulas (formulae?) : ''here's a slow one'' and ''a fast one for ya!''
