What do you think of them? I personally love them, espeically their Chaos AD and prior stuff. My favorites are probably Beneath the Remains and Arise. Their stuff before that doesn't sound that great to me.

I have "Roots" and I think that's a great CD. I can't stand their new stuff though,

i LOVE max-era sepultura(with the exception of roots, didn't really set well with me). they imo were fairly underrated, they had some of the best thrash albums ever; beneath the remains and arise. schizophrenia and morbid visions/bestial devastion were good as well, but those two albums were their best. new sepultura is pure shit imo, but soulfy is getting better

Sepultura are HUGE for me. They are (along with slayer) on of the two bands that got me into metal. I like all of there albums but the stuff after Roots lacks what the other albums had so much more of.

I'm a Max guy. I like all their stuff especially roots when they started getting primitive. That's one of the reasons I got into Soulfly . I think Max has an insane voice.

I think Max has an insane voice. Yes, he is one of those vocalists that has a very origional sound, one that can not be matched or immitated in any way.

Slayer and Sepultura are what got me into thrash metal, leading into death metal. Schizophrenia is my favorite album from them. One of the roots of death metal for sure.

Oh definitely, I recently got the Chaos DVD, and it is absolutely awesome. It has given me alot of insight into Igor's playing. Is it just me, or has Igor's technique kinda fallen apart lately? It seems like, back in the day, he was very fluid and relaxed, playing with fingers and wrist etc(still playing hard), but now, he seems to play with more arm in a bashing style.

Yeah, I noticed this too. For some reason Igor has not gotten better but he has gotten worse. He is still a great drummer but just dosen't have that signiture style he used to have.
