You know, I listened to it, tried to like it, but I can't, I hate it, I hate their vocalist, just can't get into it.

Revolver gave thier new album 5/5, though I have not heard it yet, I can tell that the rating is a little bit exaggerated.

Liked the album, and the production a lot, but 5 out of 5, NOPE, I really don't think so. But who am I to judge, I don't write for a magazine or anything.
Anyway, congrats to Jason Bittner for his award by Modern Drummer readers poll, nicely done, and cool article also. I thought it was funny\interesting that he still uses the tama's camco kick pedals instead the IC.

Eh, I liked the album, but it is absolute cockmouth compared to "Of One Blood", which is their best cd by far.
Brian Fair needs to stop using all the voice modifiers that he's been using on their past 2 albums, they make him sound as if gagging on something. If you listen to Overcast and a bit of earlier shadows fall, you'll notice that his vocals sound, well, awesome IMO, and there's absolutely no need for the electronic vocal modifier crap.
Jason is a kick ass drummer, and his drums sound so damn good
