Hey i want to no if any one has the Gibralter curved spanner system that hooks up to 2 of your existing cymbal stands and if so i want to know how it holds up don't the toms like start to bend in cause the shit is rounded i'm a pretty hard hitter to so cause i heard shit about gibralter and how the toms start to come down from playing cause of their round pipe designs???  |

I don't have this exact product but I do own a Gibralter rack. I play Tama so both of my forward toms are on one mount... I had to tighten the fuck out out of it just to make it stay in place. I didn't like it so I now have the toms on a seperate stand (like Herrera's from Queer Factory). If you had single mounts for each tom (like Pearl) it probably wouldn't overload the mounting brackets (which are attached to the round "pipe") thus causing them to loose their grip. As far as Gibralter racks go... Ive been using mine for years now without any major problems.

I had a tama rack too some years ago, and it was the worst pice of crap the world have seen! I got rid of it the day the left part of the rack slipped and my left china almost cut my balls off  |
