For about a month in the summer and am looking for a trasportable practice pad type thing that I can attatch my doubble pedal to. Does anyone know of such a thing, if so please post a link.

www.massmusic.net/shop/?shop=1&cat=471&cart=1268219Second from the top is Gibralter's bass drum practice pad. I use two for practicing at home (I've actually got two GP08 practice kits, also listed on that page, setup as a nice double kick practice pad kit) it's a great pad, good feel, relatively quiet, should be perfect for what you're looking for.

Pearl makes decent pads as well, although I personally prefer the Gibralter ones. It's great having a silent practice kit at home to practice on at all hours of the night, heh. When I get a chance, I'll shoot some photos of my practice kit to show you all.

(practise kits). also - do they injure your wrists or whatever? i want no pain/cripple/arthritis!

I'd definitely say they're worth the cost. As for injuries, nothing, as long as you're playing right, it's essentially like playing a regular practice pad, the kick pads have a bit more give to them, which gives them a slightly more releastic feel.
